I'm sure you are wondering - "What is she up to now?" Lol. I'm asking myself the same thing - but we all gotta start somewhere. As the clock ticks and I masterfully conquer one goal after another - the concept of retirement lingers in the horizon. In everyone's eye, I easily have another 20 years before retirement. But in my minds eye, the time is much shorter than that, and so starts the journey of shifting into the FIRE investment lifestyle.
You will find my FIRE approach a little different from most. My focus is on maximizing financial returns, especially since I feel so behind on investing. This means I focus more on where I put my money for the most returns as opposed to unrealistic sacrifices that only make you feel worse. Today makes day 2 of the journey. Here is what I accomplished today:
-$197.28 in options
-$305.99 in stocks - For a day total of $503.27
-I opened a go fund me account to help sponsor my FIRE journey (link below)
-I posted my GoFundMe link in 5 Facebook GoFundMe Groups
-I wrote one blog article
-Designed 1 t-shirt and updated my website
I'm all out of day trades for the next 5 days as I've reached my 3 trade limit for non-pattern day traders, but I can swing trade stocks and work on building my dividend portfolio in the mean time.
